About us
Our growing congregation presently comprises of over 100 members, and is part of a worldwide fellowship of independent, like-minded churches. We believe in the restoration of the original Biblical principles, as set out by Jesus and His Apostles in the 1st Century.
In accordance with this, we believe and practise baptism (full immersion) of believers for the forgiveness of sins and the receiving of the Holy Spirit (Acts 2:37-39). As was the practice in apostolic times, we meet on the first day of the week, Sunday (Acts 20:7), to celebrate Jesus' sacrificial death on the cross by Communion (Mark 14:22-26; 1 Corinthians 11:23-26). It is the central part of our worship.
We enjoy meeting together on a regular basis to encourage each other and to worship together (Hebrews 10:23-25; 1 Thessalonians 5:11).
Singing is an important part of our church life which we do without musical accompaniment (a capella).
Although part of a worldwide fellowship of churches of Christ, each congregation is autonomous, with no earthly head or headquarters.
